The Farmer And The Magic Tree

Basran was a poor farmer. He had a small vegetable plot and a few fruit trees. One evening, an old woman appeared before him."Please give me two lemons said the woman. "I have no money, but I can pay you with some magic seeds." "Certainly," said Basran, who immediately planted the seeds. When Basran reached home, he told his wife what has happened. "You silly man," his wife scolded him. "Next time collect money first." Basran did not hear what his wife said. He was thinking about the magic seeds. That night, he dreamt that he was climbing a tall tree. Suddenly he fell down. That morning, Basran was surprised to see a big tree with gold leaves and fruits. Suddenly he heard a voice said, "Pluck the gold leaves only. Do not pluck the red fruits." Basran plucked some gold leaves and sold them to the gold smith. He became rich. He gave half the money to his wife. However, his wife wanted more. Quietly, she plucked the red fruits and planted them. She thought, "I can get more gold trees. I'll be much richer." The next morning, Basran's gold tree had disappeared. Basran and his wife felt sad. They were poor again.............THE END...............THANKS FOR VISITING MY BLOG!!!!!!!!!!
